22 Months

I don't really have anything to say. I've been trying to not think about it too much, but each month doesn't seem to bring us closer to our daughter. If anything, every month that goes by seems to extend the wait even more. I'm a numbers person and I just can't make the numbers work to my liking. We have 410 LID days to get through (including weekends). Unless the CCAA starts referring significantly more children each month, we're looking at a very very long wait. By my calculations, if they start referring 15 days each month, then we are looking at referral around July 2011. If they start referring even 7 days a month, then we're at around November 2013. I hate to be a downer, and this is probably why I am trying to distance myself from it a bit, but I just can't see it picking up any time soon. The ironic thing is, we talk about Raven as if she'll be arriving within a year or even two. We talk about things we'll do when she is here, so I do know she'll be here one day, but alot of things can change in 3 or 4 years. Sigh.
